Subject	Head gasket to use with torque/honing plate

Message	Hi and happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Just wondering if its necessary to use an OEM head gasket with torque plate when finish honing the cylinders, or it is ok to use a Felpro or other aftermarket gasket. This is with the assumption that OEM HG will be used in the final assembly. I have always been told to use the same HG for honing with torque plate as you will be running, but perhaps thats just a myth and I wanted to ask the advice of the forum. Thanks! Brandon
