Most aftermarket fan companies inflate their CFM claims because they test them at static pressure - with no radiator in front of it. That being said, a Perma Cool fan is a good fan. A Mark VIII electric fan will fit a TT depending on your radiator. The Mark VIII fan is badass. All of the Pro-Touring, Mustain 5.0, and Off-road groups swear by them. It's the Ford 9" rear end equivalent of the electric fan world. An OEM clutch and fan will flow more air, but it does not flow independent of engine speed. The advantage of an electric fan is that you can run it full speed at idle, or with the engine completely off. You can also turn the fan completely off when cruising down the highway. An OEM fan setup does not have that capability.
