My stock brakes with 255 sticky tires and cryogenically treated front rotors could not lock up my front brakes when the brakes were applied correctly. Sure I could slam on the brakes and get them to lock up, but if I increased pressure smoothly as the weight transferred to the front axle, they would not lock up. Possibly the cryogenic treatment changed the coef of friction for the worse. My big brake kit stops the car much quicker, and there is a significantly greater weight transfer. I suggest if you are putting together your own kit, you do a lot of testing and be prepared to swap things out.
