of the vehicle for trailer & car combo... my Frontier KC 4.0L is rated for 6500# so Uhaul wants no more than 5200# of car + hauler weight. Car hauler is 2100# Fuelled Z is 3580# Total 5680# that works out to 87% of capacity at that rating. So I'm technically 7% over what UHaul wants to see. Fine, but not overloaded. I've hauled a Z half-dozen times with this setup, most recently to buy Silver Z in Calgary and drive it through that city and home 250 miles away. No problem whatsoever in city traffic and numerous stoplights. Uhaul trailers have electric surge brakes that work extremely well. I have Ride Rite airbags for tow levelling which also work very well on a front loaded setup like the Uhaul car haulers and I have an aftermarket trailer brake as well. I routinely drive overloaded fuel trailers at work with my GMC 3500 Duramax and they are a handful. The above setup is perfectly fine.
