Message the front side of the rotor.

The pebble would have to ride the wheel barrel all the way around the top half and then remain right up against the wheel barrel when it comes down to where the caliper is located.

But VERY likely to be an issue if the caliper is mounted on the rear side of the rotor. There have been car companies that haven't thought this through on quite expensive cars....on their $8k optional brake packages....an amazing oversight.
