Message assume you have many years with a fixed roof vehicle ?
In real world driving, LJZTT is right "different driving experience", and vorpalZ in first comment probably defines why. Cowl shake. Overall structural body flex is just part of a convertible's DNA. Be it a Z32, E46, Vette, Porsche, SL ,or '57 Caddy, noticing the "A" pillars moving and the overall different feel from the entire body structure flexing, is unnerving. If, you have become very comfortable with a fixed roof (including T-Top) design, borrow or rent one first ! Any manufacture will do.
Others have noted the uniqueness of a convertible, if that isn't an issue.
Having owned four convertibles (one a Z32) over the years, I could never get past the different driving experience to enjoy the rest.
