Message	From factory despite their vaunted '6 stage paint process' The OP amount is extremely consistent but present.... Nissan isn't 'splash & dashing' these cars like the GM shit from the 80's & 90's. They're not being quick or cheap on the paint. Every car (3 Z32's) I've had painted I've had long chats with the painters, and they maintain water-based has advantages, however faster drying time and orange peel resistance is not a water-based advantage over solvent based.
