it feels like dangerously tight. I've never pulled an OEM pump that felt like the bearings were going. They get replaced every 60k with the timing belt anyway. Non OEM pumps fail all the time. Leaks, bearings, hell I've seen one where the nose snapped off. Yes the tight belt puts a load on the bearings. No it will not wobble even if the bearings are worn. The belt keeps it loaded in one direction. OEM pumps can handle the load for 60k without failing.
