Nistune Developments

Houston ZAuto is working base flex fuel tune. We sell the Nistune ECU upgrades with ethanol content sensor. This will be the cheapest flex system. Full time e85 tuning is easy and has been available. But this will allow you to cross the country on and mixture of fuel e10 to e85.
Here is how Nistune does it. It replaces the knock map with a flex map. As EC (ethanol content )goes up the ecu blends over from the primary fuel map to the flex map.

The boost and left and right ARF gauges are AEM and Innovate that the owner of this vehicle and previously installed.

We installed a Zeitronix ECA-2 system with 52mm ECA gauge. The ECA controller sends a 0-5v output signal to the ECU to interpret as a EC % input. This is one of the two products we us to get a EC input.

Whats required for this:
-Nistuned ECU with the feature pack update
-ECA sensor hardware, either nistune board with an GM style ECA sensor, or the preferred Zeitronix ECA-2 system with a 52mm gauge as shown in this post.
-a fuel system which delivers enough flow for your target whp. This subject is using SARD 850cc injectors with stock turbos, so it has plenty of headroom.

Further more in theory we can us the 0-5v input as a nitrous trigger input. In substitution of the flex features maps a 5v switch could trigger the "flex maps" and we can retard timing and additional fuel..... our next project.
