Obviously turning down the crank is not the right answer unless you get a smaller seal to match it. If I remember right the OEM seal size is already on the large side of the acceptable tolerance band. Any more details on the troubles you've been seeing? Do you know if the leaks are coming through the RMS (ID or OD), the oil pan seal, or the seal housing gasket? Thanks for the post!
