| You acknowledge that they might not be offering options because it adds costs to the manufacturing process. Would you suggest that they should add them anyway and charge $130k instead of $115k for those buyers that want it? My issue is this - droves of people with a lot of money are probably not going to spend $130 (or even $115) on a Nissan. Only an enthusiast with a boner for performance is going to shell out the money. The people who are spending $75-$120K are going for Porsche 911 S, M3, V8 R8, F Type V8. They are getting premium brands with more than enough performance for those buyers. I really feel like they should have slid down to the $60-$75 range as more Nissan enthusiasts could afford it in addition to much more of the population. Then again, I say this and yet didn't the 370Z sort of have a problem of being a "nissan" in a crowded $30-$40K premium segment...
