Bose amps are shot, and PO replaced the speakers but left the amps intact, and it seems, they used the wires from the bad amps, thus accomplishing nothing. The sound is unbearable. I'm far from an expert, but capable of installing new speakers so my my question is this: If I order the replacement brackets for non Bose, and purchase new speakers, will the wiring from the head unit, that fed the old Bose enclosures simply hook right into the new speakers once the Bose enclosures/amps are tossed, or will I need to re-wire all the way to the head unit? Thanks in advance for any help.
