Message	a small amount of material removal of the caliper is require. At the ends of the rotor "arc" where it touchs the rotor and at the bottom of the two caliper bolt hole. I would say about 1/16" to 1/8" max depth of removal. I did mine with a deburing tool and took less than 15 mins each.
