Redline and AMSOIL are both good products but I disagree with your 1,000 mile statement, having run a Mercedes 441,000 and a Chevy truck over 215,000 with all redline synthetics from the engine and tranny to the diff and power steering unit. With NO major failures whatsoever. Infact both were sold to new owners and are still on the road! On both, filled them up with Redline, every three thousand droped the filter and added a quart. Run it 15,000 and drain it. But since I want to keep my Z forever, every 3,000 it gets fresh oil and filter. Kentatwater
