Message I would highly advise not running this in ANY motor configuration.
Have you calculated the shear load acting on joints?
calculated the coefficient of friction between the mating materials?
Clamping force needed to overcome the shear load?
tensile stress on the fastener and torque requirements?
Torsion load acting on the girdle?
Any analysis or simulation completed on the setup with using the above parameters?

Heat cycles from thermal expansion coupled with vibration will erode the mating faces causing the bolt to eventually work loose causing catastrophic failure.
this by no means it NOT an upgrade from the OEM. I would not advertise this to customers based on the assumption no calculations were made.

These kind of issues/calculations I work with everyday since I'm a mechanical engineer in the oil field.
