Message not advisable on street applications. Requires the heads and block to be machined for receiver grooves and orings (steel NEVER copper) If you plan to run without this done your engine will fail repeatedly.

You must use silicone around all the oil and water gallies on both sides of the gasket to prevent seepage. Copper gaskets are great for drag applications where you are looking to seal up extreme combustion pressures however should never be used in a street application due to expansion/retraction of the gasket itself. You will always see coolant leaks externally (slightly).

I do not suggest running on a DD or a street/strip setup. They can be made in nearly an unlimited thickness ranges as well.

You're best bet is to run a stock/oe gasket that has been copper coated (copper spray coat). That will give you better adhesion to both deck surfaces and you'll still have the benefit and quality of the oe composite gasket it self. No orings required unlike a true solid copper gasket mentioned above.

hope that helps.
