And that is by using the standard sized JWT filters. But.... there are those guys who do not follow the Z32, set in stone guide of performance parts. One of my cars has a JWT style set up and the other a 10" long filter. With the 10" long I have much more airflow as seen in my MAF readings and higher load readings compared to the JWT filter I had. I like to R&D myself.. SO since I never read of anyone trying air straighteners instead of flower pot mods and now owning few Z32's instead of Z31's I decided to test stuff myself. If guys read this and are having issues they can make up their minds and maybe even give it a try. But I posted my findings based on numerous of other guys having issues with stalling and erratic idles etc once they go custom intake set ups. Besides my TT Z32's my other toy is a turbo E46 330ci BMW which is far more complex then the Z32 and that has a Honeycomb in the Maf also.
