Message	works great on others. My Z likes them, but I tried them on my civic and they'd lift off the windshield on the downstroke if I was going much faster than 50-60mph. They also seem to loose tension quicker than conventional blades, but it might be my imagination. Whatever he does, I'd suggest buying them a month or so ahead of time so that he can see how well they work before he's in the middle of nowhere. If he really expects to see that much rain, it would be wise to buy a second set to stick in the trunk before he leaves, just in case.
