Message	Not too long ago some people asked about how newer cars can run high boost/compression without detonation like in this post La-Z-Link. This article does pretty well explaining the newer designs and how cam timing along with direct injection make it possible. La-Z-Link Lets just say 13:1 CR on 87octane and 40mpg is impressive.
