Message There is no mention of heat shield use with your LS swap. Having a heat shield is best, wrapping the headers is next, then ceramic coating third. There is a great deal more surface area on your manifolds than the VG manifolds, even if they are the stock LS cast manifold.

Make sure to use a splash shield between the front fascia & the front cross member. with out it air will take the path of least resistance, which is under the car & not through the radiator.

You can go further & duct to the radiator specifically to increase the efficiency of the radiator too.

You can also remove the weather stripping on the back of the engine bay to allow the hot air to escape & remove the PS crowel over the battery. You can space the rear of the hood up with a couple of washers between the hood & the hod hinges.

The louvers that ZonaZ links are excellent & work very well, if you don't mind cutting & drilling your hood.

Also run more water than "coolant/anti freeze" & add a bottle of redline water wetter.
