Message	For the love of god, please remove your dipstick BEFORE installing the oil pan. This 5-10 second procedure could turn into a MUCH longer one in comparison The customer brought the engine to me like this (the whole car was in boxes) and getting ready to start the car up I did some prelim checks (oil, coolant, PS, etc) and the dipstick would not come out. I yanked on it a few times and the yellow handle broke off - I knew then it was serious. Decided to tackle the pan removal in the car. Not a terrible job if you have a spanner and like to bathe in ATF The dipstick flops on the wrong side of the girdle when you install the pan with the dipstick in - and then its stuck there!
