Subject	Any experience installing fixed back seats?

Message	I am trying to install a set of corbeau FX1 pro seats in the z. I have wedge brand seat brackets, corbeau sliders, and planted side mounts. If I install all that I sit so high Im looking out of the top of the window. I tried mocking up the seat with various parts of the hardware removed and it seems like if I were to remove the sliders and brackets, just mounting the seat and side mounts to the floor it would be a similar height to the factory position. I hate the idea of drilling holes in the floor though. Anyone mounted fixed backs before and have any advice?
