Sure the new billet wheel fits in a Garret compressor housing so perhaps "containment" isn't a concern but optimizing the rest of the compressor wheel design is no small feat. Garrett, Borg Warner & Mitsibishi are the only ones who have the equipment to ensure an optimized solution and "get it right". Could Turbos Direct get it right without the equipment based on experience alone? Maybe.That's just not a risk I'm willing to take... or recommend. I'm sure they are competent at some level. Maybe I would think differently if I were out there in AZ, knew them personally, or knew their reputation through the Supra crowd. Plus you have to agree their shoddy website and overall presentation isn't exactly convincing of a good billet wheel's design.
