Only reason I didn't drive it every day is because I needed my pickup to haul trailers back and forth. My wife and I drove it to Branson Z fest and then took it on a shopping trip in Arkansas last week just for fun. I've got it turned down to around 850-900whp. I also put another engine in it with standard compression ratio and 400+ cams. It will still spin the Nitto NT05 275 tires at 120 if I want. I also have the rev limiter set at 7400 rpms with a soft cut coming in 200 rpms in advance. Been changing up the Haltech by adding a table that limits boost with throttle position. It has a curve of -40% boost at 0 % tp and 100% boost at 100% throttle. This smoothed out the power and you can control wheel spin with your foot. That is still not an easy task so in the next week or so I'm going to hook up my wheel speed sensors from the ABS as inputs to the Haltech and create a map to lower boost and timing with wheel spin automatically as in traction control. I started with my car having stock turbos, then full breather mods, then sport 700s, to my current GTX3576 setup. It's not for everyone that is for sure but I quickly got bored with the 400whp, 500whp, 672whp. Now with more power than I can use, it has become about putting that to the ground and smoothing it out. I love working on my car, that is why I bought it. It still looks like a piece of crap and the plan is to one day make it look good (I have all of the TwinZ components), handle good, and have a ton of power.
