Message	FPR is usually a valve with a spring to increase fuel pressure based on vacuum input source. after the fuel rail. [ http://z32.wikispaces.com/Fuel+Pressure+Regulator ] Fuel dampener is before the fuel rail and it reduces pulsation of fuel before it enters the fuel rail itself.
