Message	with a long 1/2" extension but it gouged the piston underside a little. I got nervous. I couldn't think of something softer that wouldn't leave some pieces in the engine. Then I tried knocking on the connecting rod bolts a little, trying not to damage the threads, but that didn't work well either. You're probably right.
