Message Moog, Ingalls, and SPD are all pretty comparable in quality IMO. We've sold the crap out of them for quite a while and I've never once heard a complaint, and I've had them on my car for about 3 years now without issues (I believe it was the SPD version, but again they're pretty much all the same). I'd say they're worth giving a shot to save some money over OEM. Tie rods are such a common wear-and-tear part on practically ever car on the market; I personally don't think there's any secret sauce to the Nissan ones other than the fact that they come from Nissan. I'd avoid the bargain-bin stuff on eBay, but Moog/Ingalls/SPD are pretty well known for these very parts.

Also, SPL makes the outers, which you might find beneficial if it's going to be more competition oriented, just because it uses a spherical heim joint rather than a typical grease-packed ball joint.

Just my 2c.
