Why you you expect the car to run smoother or better? If you are pushing the limits of your injectors this can give you a little breathing room by upping the pressure, at the expense of your fuel pumping capacity. If you have a monster fuel pump this may prevent low duty cycle unintentional increases in fuel pressure. This isn't a general purpose mod. If you don't have a real reason, you gain nothing.
