Message	compression and leak down numbers, I wouldn't worry about having to rebuild it. However, one thing is for sure. You will need to replace every single gasket, timing belt, water pump, etc. on the JDM engine. And on any used engine, double check the intake cam gears and ensure the back plate can't be spun on them, otherwise you will need to replace those gears.
