| more of a public service announcement. I will consider myself re-educated. I had seen RacerZX's issue and it seemed to make sense. We get a lot of folks here wanting to do low budget builds and I didn't want to see a number of failures. I cannot refute the success stories and I agree that a properly modded TT is a match for a high comp conversion. The lower compression TT engine would in my opinion offer a decent safety margin for issues that cause detonation and if nothing else reduce the sensitivity to bad gas. I recall before I swapped my NA one fuel purchase where after topping up with 92 octane just a few miles down the road it was pinging badly. Seems the delivery truck had dumped 87 into the premium tank. Again, not criticizing your cars. I admire them and appreciate the info.
KKROFFTNow occurs everywhere, simultaneously. But it doesn't have to be experienced the moment it happens. Every now that ever was is still exactly when it was, when it was now. Then, in terms of perception, is nothing more than all the nows that are no longer now. Thus, the difference between now and then is when. --The Waystoppers Users' Manual
