Message I have seen a number of posts recently regarding high compression as a way to increase responsiveness and reduce lag. In some of these discussions are folks wanting to turbo their NA motors. I may have missed it but I have not seen anybody mention the primary gotcha to this idea.

The NA and TT VG30 engines are nearly identical but the weak link for boosted NA engines is the piston wrist pin. NA wrist pins are thinner wall than TT and won't take the power. Check out the Racer ZX website for his experiences.

He found that the higher pressures (He only went to 10 or 11PSI as I recall) required new custom timing maps in addition to a new tune. I think Ash did the tune as I recall.
The engine eventually failed as a result of wrist pin failure. His autopsy revealed the thinner wall wrist pins.

Now occurs everywhere, simultaneously. But it doesn't have to be experienced the moment it happens.

Every now that ever was is still exactly when it was, when it was now.

Then, in terms of perception, is nothing more than all the nows that are no longer now.

Thus, the difference between now and then is when.
