Subject	Anyone use an eraser wheel to remove the factory stripe?

Message	My stripe is peeling in several places. Rather than re-applying, I've been thinking of removing it. The eraser wheel is larger than the stripe indent, so I'm afraid it will eat up the surrounding paint while pushing it into the indent to get at the stripe.
