Message	need to tackle an engine pull.the benefits of removing the hood far out weigh leaving it on. the hood is aluminum and is very light. you don't have to worry about it falling or getting damaged. you can see the back of the engine better, with out the need of drop lights. i have pulled three engines and i left the hood on with the first one. but took it off on the last two. for me, removing it is better.
