Message I bought a much faster car, it was a huge mistake. Sure, the new car would blow the doors off my old n/a Z (or a TT) stock for stock but I still regret it to this day. I am not going to say what I bought and stir up the forums, but the longer I owned the "much faster car", the more I missed my old Z, and I started to care less if the car was faster or not, it still was not a Z...so here I am back here as a "newbie" 10 years later. It took me a very long time to find a nice clean low mile yellow twin turbo that wasn't 5 states away, they are an absolute rarity nowadays, especially the "clean" part, and you can bet I will have this car until the day they put me 6 foot under. Every time I say "Yeah, I sold my ___ and bought another 300ZX, people just simply do not understand it, and ask what is wrong with me. Well, going "XX" mph faster in "XX" amount of time doesn't mean anything to me, I would rather have a 300ZX than any other car on the entire planet. Which brings to mind my favorite Z story...I had just purchased my first pearl yellow 1990 300ZX, was driving it home from the dealership, and had stopped at an intersection. Two really hot girls were about to cross the street and had obviously never seen a Z32, the one pointed and exclaimed with great excitement "LOOK AT THAT CAR!" The other girl instantly stared and dropped a full soda on the ground where it exploded on her feet. She never even looked down when the pop exploded, and they never did cross the street because the car looked so cool the world around them disappeared I guess, and they couldn't stop staring...so I drove on. That is what happens when you drive a Z, the world disappears around you and it is just you and the car. Never sell your Z, for any reason, you will live to regret it.
