Message there are also steering racks from other cars that have the motor as part of the rack but I wont have any space for that.

I was looking on ebay last night and found several oem electric steering assist columns from newer cars, I may just use the column from a Nissan rogue in hopes that the steering wheel can mount directly to the input shaft. If it's strong enough to steer an SUV it should be enough to park a Z ;)

I assume I would just have to find space to situate the motor inside of the dash, rig up the electronics, and either manualize the hydrualic rack by removing the piston inside the rack and relieving the tension on the pinion OR get a flaming river manual rack that will work with the Z.... leaning more toward manualizing the stock rack as it already mounts to the car and the tie rod ends bolt on, I would just need to grease it occasionally
