his car was very poorly put together, the oil pump had a piece broken off of it, silicone was covering up the broken area and oil would pour out of it under throttle.
We could not make a full pass, the amount of oil coming out under throttle was crazy. This was on a group tune weekend at our shop, we offered to keep the car and fix it, but the customer declined.
The tune he left with was simply a safe map to get the car fixed and bring the car back to finish tuning. The timing was lower than our generic chip, it had the low timing we start off with when doing custom tuning that is lower than our generic chip, so I would expect any generic chip to feel stronger as it was not made to be a final tune, simply a safe tune to get the fixed and come back to finish it.
