| Hey guys! Thought I'd make another post with some more updates on what I'm doing. It's been ridiculously cold recently and usually I have the spirit to put some music on in the shop and get some work done but I've been lazy. I managed to get all the gauges wired up and functional, obviously the senders are not connected yet. The racelogic is all installed, I just have to mount the digital adjuster behind the ignition on the left of the AC pod. I used a Blue Seas distribution block with ground buss, to keep all my accessories localized. If you recall from my last post...the car had major wiring gremlins from PO's...something I wanted to avoid in the future. In light of this, I sheathed everything, labelled everything every 10 inches, and harnessed it up. It may look a bit messy as I'm still adding more accessories (lights, IC sprayers, etc) but it serves it's purpose, and quite well. If you're wondering how I hooked it up, I ran an 8awg cable to it (sheathed obviously, sheath everything, everything, everything!) to a Scosche 100amp relay triggered by the ignition. So turn the key to the ON position, and it receives power. It may be important to note that it also does not ground when cranked, so it's consistent 12v power.

In reference to the ignition harness:

For the distribution block:

And here with the gauges turned on:
Because of all the gauges I have and the odd shape of the Snow Performance meth controller, I decided to mount it on the dash on the passenger-side of the front bezel. I didnt want to drill into the dash in case I do decide to hide all this stuff in the future so I made a mount out of some aluminum stock I bought from Lowes (left over from the fuse block relocation). I decided while I was making it to also have it double as a cellphone mount...why not right? I Plastidipped it along with my other bracket for the fuse block relocation, and I think it came out pretty good!

I know there will be purists out there that don't like the gauges everywhere but for the first couple of months of me having this car, data acquisition will be my number one concern. Knowing that I can glance down and check everything out and see all is well is worth the peace of mind in my book. Yeah...a lot of guys would say mount the gauges in the glove box or the second DIN pocket, but those are all things I wanted to keep. We will see what happens in the future :) On the other side of things, I got my block back from the machine shop. I decided to deburr everything myself, and clean all the galleys and such with some valve guide brushes I snagged off eBay. Cleaned everything up, and sent it back to the machine shop to have him tap the oil galley holes for 1/4 npt plugs and do a final wash.

I also got around to working on the front end of the car. Re-mounting my Flex-a-lite fan controller that I use for my Taurus fan. I'm sure you guys are familiar with the Taurus fan and it's ability to push air...and if you haven't made the change yet I strongly suggest doing so. I have a partial writeup done on my site but in reality this will be the final part.
Also got the new oil cooler mounted too. Pics:

And finally, I also got the battery mounted in the rear of the car.

At this point I'm pretty caught up with everything...I need to clean and powdercoat all the brackets that go on the block, shave the plenum and remake the balance tube...and a few other things. Oh...and I have to install the coils. And these ;)
Got those off of 1BADTTZ from the classifieds. Great seller and great shipper. Thanks buddy! Thanks for looking guys.
