Message the snow. I thinks there are a few things that made me feel that way:
1. It stopped and turned better than it accelerated, which generally is a good thing. With good fresh all season tires, it would pretty easily handle snow until the bumper and/or fram rails started dragging.

2. Being a sports car, you could really feel what the car was doing. You could feel how slippery the road was, and you knew immediately if one end was starting to slide.

3. I generally prefer manual transmissions in the snow. It's nice being able to use engine braking when going down a hill, leaving your front wheels free to steer the car. It's also alot easier to rock the car if you do get stuck.

4. The low profile of the car keeps it from getting blown around if it's windy.

I currently drive a 97 civic daily, and I'd much rather drive my Z in the snow if it didn't mean getting it caked in salt
