Message unless you are shelling the car and doing a rotisserie paint job. Otherwise all masked edges will tell the story of the new color. Black is by far the best for a masking paint job, as the trim is also black and shows overspray and masking tape edge accumulation the least.

A friend has a custom upholstery shop, web address: [ http://slickcreationsllc.com/ ] You would not believe what custom builders spend on a paint job. Not cost effective for a driver. Most of these finshes are rather thick compared to OEM and chip very easily.
