I bought a set a few yrs back that was supposed to have no cracks. When I received them there was a pretty large crack in one of the rear rims. Luckily PayPal agreed with me and refunded my money and then I sent the rims back. I had a repair shop even look at them first and they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't crack again. Hence the reason I didn't mind spending the money I did on a good set. I don't think they "crack" any more than other rims I just think there are so few of them that your gonna end up seeing damaged ones at this point. I could be wrong tho. Plus there prb like 20 yr or so old rim. The chances of good ones are getting rare.
