Message :Any mods you do will actually make it decrease in value. Just be aware, buying parts will be like burning money plus taking value away from your car once you put them on and drive it. I don't plan on selling the car, still own my 99 ford explore that I bought brand new, another z that I bought back in 04, we are thinking on replacing the explorer and a conversion van we have to upgrade with a Tahoe so we can be able to tow a travel trailer we have, and buy a Lexus 1s350 for me, the only reason I see my self selling the Z is if I have money problems, that thankfully I don't have. Every time I buy toys I start pouring money into them, I had about 12 boats in my life,(I'm 40) and I spend a lot of money (LOTS OF $$$) on all of them, same with cars and a motorcycle I have. I' actually planning on keeping all the original parts just in case I decide to sell the car in the future, put the original parts back and sell the aftermarket ones, that's what I always do. As you can see I'm aware about putting lots of money into cars, boats or any other toy, I know every time there is a loss of money on this, but its a hobby that I really enjoy.
But one thing I not planing on doing to the car is putting a lot of miles, considering using this as a show car use it a little and if I can convince the wife, I'll keep my other Z to use it without caring about the miles. My other z looks real nice and I'm happy with that one, just need to fix a few things here and there.
