Subject	Brass plugs in block- Should they be removed?

Message	A couple months back one of our members posted on how to remove the steel plugs from the front and rear of the block to clean out the oil passages. I noticed some brass-colored plugs on the side of the block and I'm wondering if they should be removed during a rebuild (circled in red) ? What is behind them? There are also two behind the oil tree: Also, should the center part behind the oil tree that is threaded in (circled in yellow) be removed during a rebuild or better just to leave alone?
