Message	The GTX30 is a T3 turbo so it has a larger exhaust wheel (60mm) which is a better balance between the hot and cold side. The better balance between the two sides will help with surge. After running the gt3071s for several years, I have come to the conclusion that they are a little off balance. The exhaust turbine wheel (56.5mm) is a little to small for the big compressor wheel. The new GTX 2863 is a much better balanced turbo. If you want more than 850 rwhp than I would recommend going to a T-3 turbo because they have a much better balanced turbo lineup.
