And he worked for GM long before he was tapped to run the company (I.E. he was part of the problem before he suddenly wasn't). I actually like Lutz, think he's a real car guy for the most part, GM however, I could care less - except to say that the bailout (and subsequent orders to kill Pontiac, etc.) were nessissary to save thousands of jobs and stop the economy from sinking even lower. I would have loved to see GM go belly up for their years of poor decisions, but it wouldn't have been good for the US economy, plain & simple...
