Message	The DUI checkpoint thing was challenged here in Virginia, but of course they lost. Revenue factor, over-zealous MAD-hatters, politicians who want to do what whatever poll said is "the right thing", judges who don't want their names in the paper, and of course the cops who need another bust to push them up the promotion ladder. Joe Blow doesn't stand a chance!! They recently enacted a law requiring ignition interlock when convicted of the first DUI. After the law was passed it was "found out" that a number of the General Assembly delegates have stock in the company that was awarded the contract for the interlock devices!
