| So I installed a gently used JWT Genie on my otherwise completely stock 1990 slicktop yesterday, and I am absolutely loving driving it. So now my NA slicktop and my boosted NATT convertible are kind of my favorites to drive (street not track) despite being much lower power than my "full breather" cars (also convertible and slicktop). I am seriously wondering: In pursuing more and more power, have I accidentally traded away part of the soul that made the Z the Z? Crazy talk? Anyone else get this feeling sometimes? (Also, and this I am sure of, open 3 inch testpipes are a lot less obnoxious on the convertible chassis than on the coupe. On SlickTTop they are always always present in the cabin. I assume this is because the convertible is essentially boxed in behind the driver with the trunk, which insulates a tonne of the noise).
