Message	it should still work. Eric (spdrman15?) confirmed this at a meet we had in chicago. Another member had a couple bad injectors, so we (Eric did most of the work) went to swap them out. When we pulled all of them out, breaking the cylinder/pipe that covers the bottom portion on several of them. When we reinstalled the "broken" ones, they worked fine. That being said, Im not lead to believe thats an integral part of the injector.
