of bracing a breaker bar and cranking the starter as Honda engine's spin the other way compared to everyone else. I used this trick many times before I had an electric impact. Did this trick on my buddy's MX6 LS and another buddy's Ford Probe GT.
I use an electric (plug-in) impact on my Protege and I've never had a problem pulling the crank pulley bolt. Granted, it does put out 400 lb-ft of torque.
