| The race itself? awesome But the value for what that ticket got you? non-existent All you got was permission to literally be there within sight of the race.......seats (the majority of which were not seats but just groundspace) were a free-for-all, meaning you had to get there ridiculously early, and since you cant bring inside food or water, you spend a fortune on concessions to keep from starving throughout the day. Restrooms were scarce and shitty, concessions were scarce, overwhelmed, over-priced, and slow. What did the "upper" tier ticket get you? An assigned seat in the assigned grandstands, thats it. Not worth the extra $100 by a long shot.
"What a curiosity our new political correctness has made of our public spaces. Let your sex tape loose on the Internet and be rewarded with your own TV show; photograph a crucifix in a jar of urine and our museums will vie to exhibit it; occupy someone else’s property and you will be hailed by the president for your keen social conscience. But call people who blow up, behead, and mutilate, “savage” — and polite society will find you offensive." --Jared Silverman "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." --Winston Churchill "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." --Benjamin Franklin "Government is not reason. It is not eloquent. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." "The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury." --George Washington END THE FED ....learn why, in 42 minutes Full Pardon for PFC Bradley Manning |
