I have this jack as well with Wings West front fascia on stock suspension. I also have to drive it on blocks, or use the spare tire jack if the car won't run. I don't consider it to be that big of a deal. I don't know how much more low profile you can make this thing. I've been using mine for a year now on my DD and Z, with no complaints either. As someone above commented, I only paid $80ish for it, so wait for it to go on sale if you can. Most stuff at HF goes on sale about once a month. Minor complaint is when I first got the jack, it was sometimes a bit tricky to get it to release slowly. Over time that seems to have resolved itself. I also use the HF jackstands, they're fine as well. I've saved a lot of money getting stuff like this through them. HF quality isn't as bad as everyone claims. IMO, if you're not going to be using their stuff every single day in a shop, the quality should be fine.
